Thanks Pamela
Just to add a bit more detail...
We're a rapidly growing church and are looking to use tags - for example - to show which volunteer teams or groups different people are in.
If I want to send a quick email to all the leaders of one of our Sunday School agegroups (eg the under-10's), I really can't face copying and pasting all those email addresses, or exporting the list into CSV, opening it in OpenOffice and then copying them into Gmail...
...nor am I going to put a posh newsletter together in MadMimi.
What I want is a simple "send email to list" button - it would be a superb new feature and make this a 'must use' for people like us.
Thanks for being willing to think it through... even if we just end up with a "click to copy email addresses onto clipboard", then I'd be a happy man!
Let me know when it gets to the head of the queue!

Emailing a group - could we have a single click from a list/report?It would be absolutely fantastic to be able to do the same for a group of contacts (assmebled via a list/report) as you can for an individual - i.e. to be able to click on a 'mail-to:' link that loads all their email addresses into your default mail app - in my case Gmail!
For simple group emails, that's a much more efficient process than something like MailChimp (we use MadMimi - any chance of integrating with them one day too?!)...
It's entirely possible that Mail-to: doesn't allow multiple addresses, but is there another way? For example, clicking loads the list of comma-delimited emails onto the clipboard for pasting into the email app?
This would hugely increase our useage of Batchbook - and our likelihood of taking out a paid account - we're thinking about it at the moment!
Thanks for the site so far - we're enjoying getting to know it...-

Problem with the MT plugin... doesn't seem to do what I expect!I've installed the MT plugin on my blog (http://richardfrank.allsoulschurch.or...), but all it gives me is the option to subscribe to me own email address (no options re: GTalk etc) - and looking within the plugins management page within the dashboard, it tells me that although my login has been confirmed, it's unable to 'claim the blog' - no idea what that means.
