Another possible workaround:

Only other comments that I see of relevance are:
Check your settings (esp make sure no one added another dup account - unlikely)
The usual - delete everything and start over - category of suggestions.

And an excellent comment on adding to the apple mail bug report:
Hi I've had the same problem,it's nothing to do with Time machine, or MS Exchange or your server! Everyone should notify Apple.
Can everyone who's had this problem go to http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx....
And then Feedback Area (drop down menu) :Mail
Feedback Type: Bug Report
Point them to this thread and maybe we'll get a fix next update!!
Snow Leopard is about as buggy as Vista! I was a totally loyal Apple OS fan but this latest release has left me cold!

How to stop Snow Leopard/Exchange/AppleMail from creating duplicates of all inbound mail? Some users on Snow Leopard experience this duplicate mail issue, some don't.
What happens is that Apple Mail will work fine with exchange for a little while, then one day a user logs in, and sees duplicates of all inbound mail messages. There is no way to delete them! Seems like a bug with Apple Mails integration with exchange.
Many users on the apple forum have this problem, so it's obviously somewhat of a pervasive bug since Snow Leopards release. See: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.j...
Bugs have been filed with Apple on this issue, according to the support threads.
This is evidently not a high priority however, and no workaround has been found by the apple forum folks.
I am looking to see if anyone in the getsatisfaction community might be employing a workaround.
Ideas?

richbodo replied on March 31, 2009 03:37 to the question "Airport Extreme 7.4.1 update unstable" in Apple:
To downgrade to 7.3.2:
1) Open Airport Utility
2) Select the Airport to update
3) Select Base Station | Upload Firmware from the menu
4) In the Upload Firmware dropdown, elect 7.3.2
5) Cick update firmware and o.k.
Takes about 5 minutes and your windows users will have reliable wireless access again.

Airport Extreme 7.4.1 update unstableAnyone else having trouble with 7.4.1.
I have three Airport Extreme A1143 basestations that were working flawlessly prior to the latest firmware uprade.
Now users get kicked off very frequently since upgrading to 7.4.1.
TKIP countermeasures mode seems to be activated constantly.
Every time that mode gets activated, all users get kicked off. They get back on after one minute of downtime.
Very irregular connectivity. Downgrading tonight. Considering alternative hardware.
Lots of these across all routers:
"Mar 25 14:06:32 Severity:1 Start TKIP countermeasures mode."
I see lots and lots of unhappy 7.4.1 firmware users on the apple forums, but no fix to this firmware, yet.
No one seems to indicate this particular problem, either, so I'm starting to wonder if there is general instability or if there is something I can do about this.
The airport utility doesn't give me the option to choose AES instead of TKIP.
A comment on the question "Tile Windows In Mac OS X" in Apple:
when I run that one the script editor output shows "count every window of current application" which indicates to me that "count of windows" means to finder "count of all windows in the application with user focus" which is script editor and that's not what we want in this case. – richbodo, on March 13, 2009 01:31

Tile Windows In Mac OS XDoes anyone know of a script that can tile all the open application windows?
I would like to tile all open application windows on my desktop in some sensible way so that they can be used (not a preview mode). This is something that is easy to find in window managers on linux or windows, but not OSX.
I did some research on this, and found that this can probably be done via applescript. I found some scripts that do almost, but not quite what I want. That is, they tile only one applications open windows. Here are a couple links to interesting attempts:

Bluetooth hangs new MacBook ProGear:
Brand New MacBook Pro 15" and new Bluetooth Mighty Mouse - OSX 10.5.5
Use Case:
Case closed, using bluetooth mouse, working fine.
Computer goes to sleep.
Wake up computer.
Bluetooth says that it’s connected and sees mouse, but bluetooth mouse does not respond.
Green light is steady on the bottom of the mouse
Can disconnect mouse in menu and reconnect and no response.
Can delete and re-pair it and it doesn’t work.
To fix, you must choose shut down computer, and you get stuck with a spinning status wheel. You have to hold down the power button and make it physically shut down.
Happens on all our MacBook Pros with Bluetooth.-

Hi Clif,
Bug Summary: Referring links do not pick up page rename.
1) create a link to a not-yet-existent wiki page B in the current page (A), save.
2) click on the link you created, and create the new wiki page B.
3) Now rename wiki page B.
Expected Result:
All links to wiki page B should be updated with the new wiki page name.
Observed Result:
All links to wiki page B are broken.
Notes: I hope I'm doing something wrong. Every other wiki I have used has indexed internal representations of pages, which makes auto-updating referring links trivial.

I believe my company started with 2.0 wikis from the start. I'm ambitious and interested. I would love to try the javascript.
In general, I'm used to making wiki pages in a much faster, less buggy manner than pbwiki currently supports. So I would love to learn about anything that will speed page creation/editing and eliminate dialogs.

Why don't referring links rename on when I renamed my pbwiki page?I just renamed a page and pbwiki did not rename the referring links. I think it's a bug that has to do with puncutation in the page name. This is the url of the page: https://oursitenotlisting.pbwiki.com/...

This is on a dell vostro 200, for which the video chipset is an Intel G33/31 Express Chipset Family. I'm running one monitor, no funny business with synergy, although I doubt intercepting keyboard/mouse driver commands would do that anyway. Looking forward to trying this out. If you want me to try a patch or a different beta version, just let me know. You can send mail to richbodo at gmail as well.
richbodo replied on June 11, 2008 18:48 to the question "Black screen of nothingness." in BumpTop:
No, I'm not. However, I run synergy, which allows me to share a mouse and keyboard across several different computers, monitors, and operating systems. That doesn't sound like anything that I should have disclosed ahead of time, though. (hehe) I'll shut it down and restart...darn. Same thing. The Black.
