A comment on the problem "RSS Feed Badge Confusing!" in I So Wish:
I'd change the words, so instead of just "RSS" the orange badge said somehow what in pointed to. I can't think of good wording now but "RSS for Granted Wishes" and "RSS for Debbie" for example. – rickybuchanan, on December 30, 2008 01:11

Sorry, my wording wasn't too clear. By "RSS feed badge" I meant the orange/green links. Sorry. – rickybuchanan, on December 29, 2008 21:58

RSS Feed Badge Confusing! It confuses me a lot that the RSS badge down the bottom is for an RSS feed of some subset of wishes, depending on which page you're on, while the Commens RSS right beside it is always for all comments site-wide.
The RSS feed badge gives no indication that it's changing which RSS feed it points to, and with the comments one *not* changing.... well, I accidentally ended up subscribed to the RSS feed of only Stefan's wishes and I didn't realise why there were wishes missing from my feed for ages!

It's still happening to me intermittently. I'm trying to narrow down *when* but it's proving tricky! I think that for me the code on somebody's personal page (with their picture large) works fine if I click on the friending stuff right under their picture .... but none of the others work properly (they appear to do either nothing or bounce me to the top of the same page)

State your locationWishes are often location-specific, it would be great if people had a field to put their location which could be displayed with their user information.

No link from isowish.com to this site...I think there should be at least a link in the footer, perhaps labelled "Support", and a link in the FAQ page. I had to go back and find my wish where the site was listed to report this!
rickybuchanan replied on December 24, 2008 02:53 to the question "my metawish list" in I So Wish:
I've noticed many of these. to add something I already put on the wish site as a wish, pre-this forum, please send the CONTENTS of comments out when you email me to say a comment exists. If I end up with (as I did the last few days) 15 emails from isowish in my inbox in the morning then I end up just deleting the lot and looking at the site and possibly missing some comments which is fairly sucky.-

I'd like to be able to do this too. Or, more flexibly, alter the URL in a standard way (regular expressions?) before shortening. I like to put the Google Analytics stuff on the end of my URL so I can track where visitors come from, and tracking twitter users separately from RSS readers is a helpful ability.
I hadn't thought of using Yahoo Pipes but it seems it'd be easier to do it in Twitterfeed....-
