This would solve all the problems with scrobblingThink if it would be a way to solve all the problems with lastfm-scrobbling. Well, this may be it.
Add a function to right click on any track, album or artist and choose "Change scrobbling-name". Then you write in a name that would be the name that scrobbles. I hope this is an option that isn't too hard to insert, and probably is it more likely that you fix this in a short future than change all the names that is wrong.
Examples on what it could be used on... Every song that has " - Album version" and things like that. The band [ingenting] that doesn't scrobble because lastfm can't handle [ or ] (you could change it to just ingenting. Etc...-

Like I said in this thread, i can't use Spotify because of this. Everything that isn't in the real title doesn't belong there.

Why do you keep changing song names that is right?Recently, a lot of songs that i listen to has changed names, like that Common People has been changed into "Common People - Full Length Version / Album Version". And also, for exampel Shotter's Nation has changed it's song names ("You Talk (Album Version)" and "Baddies Boogie" instead of "Badde's Boogie" like it stood before). This screws up my lastfm-scrobbling and i won't use Spotify as my serious player anymore. And that's something of a shame för you, as I was planning to buy Spotify Premium.
I don't complain about the music library, because I know that you are doing the best you can, which is pretty well so far. And I don't complain about adverts, bugs or anything like that of the same reason. But song titles, come on. For me, the lastfm-scrobbling is very important, and I know it is for others, so I think you can have a little look at this problem. Maybe hire some cheap teenagers that go through the hole catalogue?
Until then, I'll use iTunes. But I really hope that you fix this.-

How about a deal with Slumberland records?I know that you are fixing new deals all the time, and you now almost have all the music I listen to on Spotify. That is great!
BUT, I have to recommend you to sign a deal with the label Slumberland Records. That wou'ld make the hole indie part of Spotify a lot greater. For example there are artists such as The Pains of Being Pure at Heart and Crystal Stilts.
