My facebook account drops out of the "unbound" list a lot. Is this a bug, or do you drop it out of the UI when the connection to facebook is broken, or...well what's going on there? Do I need to add my account again?

Firefox quickfind overrides Brizzly shortcutsHotkeys don't seem to work for me in firefox, where typing any key puts you into the search bar. I think it works correctly in GMail, so there's a way to hijack those keys correctly out there and I'm confident you're the team to find it!

It just comes down to how long I need it open. A web app is a great first-app, as it works for users who can't install things on their machines. A desktop app provides a better experience for those of us who can and want to free Threadsy from all our other browsing. I want desktop notifications, more keyboard shortcuts, the ability to alt-tab straight to threadsy, etc. It just feels too useful / powerful to be locked in my browser. :)
A quick port into Adobe AIR shouldn't be too hard given AIR's support for AJAXy apps....that might be a great and simple place to start?

Configure notifications for bound/unboundI'd like to be able to configuration the notification sound at least by the bound/unbound view. I'm following a lot of people on twitter and expect unbound content to come in frequently - I don't want to hear a sound when that happens. I would like to hear a sound when BOUND content comes in though, as it requires my attention, and should be coming less frequently. Just an idea - thanks!

Tab to complete usernames in "to" fieldsletting users hit "tab" to complete and add an address in the "to" field of an email or tweet would be a great little usability feature. GMail and most twitter clients work this way - they auto-complete as you type and then complete if you hit "tab". I find myself doing this in threadsy all the time and am getting thrown off by the different user experience.

CC in emailIs there a way to select people for to, cc, or bcc in the email interface? I can't see a way in the UI to specify a separate CC list, or to separate the "to" from the CC. Is it possible, or is this feature not yet implemented?

@ button not working in bound view on SafariNot sure if Safari is even in the targeted list of supported browsers, but currently clicking @ to reply to a tweet in "bound" view does not add the @name to the text input box correctly. Safari 4.0.3 on Leopard.
RJ replied on September 21, 2009 19:25 to the idea "Desktop App" in threadsy:
The desktop app is important to me because I don't want threadsy to be trapped in my browser. The conversations I have on twitter and facebook are things I want open all the time. I want to see what others are doing and be able to jump in at any moment. Locking Threadsy in the browser makes it feel trapped.
Applications that provide constant interaction and value are difficult to interact with in a web-browser for me - I limit my browser apps to things I want to interact with for a short time and then close. I think it's the same reason there are 500 twitter desktop and mobile applications out there, and almost no one posts to twitter using twitter.com anymore. The page works and renders fine on a phone - the desktop clients are just easier to keep running.
Google Chrome might change this, and the trend is definitely toward more browser-based computing, but I just don't like keeping browser apps running all of the time. Part of this is probably specific to me as an RIA developer, since my browser crashes pretty frequently, but there's also just something more....permanent...and persistent...about a desktop application. I feel like your utility and value are more consistent with the desktop than the web, and like Threadsy is trapped there living up to less than it's full potential. I might be wrong.
Right now my option is running Threadsy in it's own browser - using Safari for Threadsy and FireFox for browsing. I'm going to try that for a week and see how it goes.

I'd really like the ability to filter the "bound" list by read/unread. I don't want to delete many things, but I also don't want to see items I've already processed in my "bound" inbox.
The real thing you're going to need to kill out my other twitter client and facebook client is a desktop app though. I'd pay good money for a desktop app that does what your web app can do!
