its not a firefox extension, but replay media catcher can download hulu videos, but it saves it in an flv file, so you have to convert it for most things. The only problem is that you have to get the paid version.

And how do you download youtube videos,; ive been looking around the interface, but i cant seem to find it

Idea: Download youtube and hulu videos
There should be a way to download videos from sites like youtube or hulu or something. There are extensions in firefox to do this, but i think it would be cool if this was a built in feature.
