Thank you Greg for your speedy response and phone call. Using the old proxy 66.186.55.90 (only to be used if having new proxy issues) has boosted my stream to 2000kbps! I hope to hear about a resolve for the new proxy soon to boost my speeds further.

Bandwidth of a2btv is getting worse
Once upon a time (about a year and a half ago) I used to be able to get a steady 1700kbps stream to Australia. However in that time things have progressively gotten worse and I'm currently only getting 180kbps or worse at peak US viewing times and maybe 500kbps off peak viewing times. A speed test to your current bandwidth provider says I can receive a steady stream of data at a little over 5000kbps. What's going on? Every proxy I've used has only ever made the stream unwatchable below 100kbps.

a2btv was once a great product, but now I couldn't recommend it to anyone.
