AppWorld Frustrations - Cannot Get License KeyAppWorld is about to drive me to drink. Yesterday, I purchased a license for Student Docket and tried to download and install it. The purchase appeared to go through, but now AppWorld is stuck at the message "Completing purchase." Evidently many BB users are going through heck with AppWorld and this is just one of the issues people are having. How can I get my license key before my trial runs out since I purchased a license in good faith?
Thank you!

I just ran into this too. Is it not possible to just do a reverse move? – Rob, on September 05, 2009 17:02

Oh! It just happened again! I switched to the SPAM folder in my GMail account. Dragged an e-mail message from the message list to the Inbox and it switched the view from the Inbox list to the Sent Mail List. – Rob, on September 02, 2009 22:26

The former, Scott. Oddly, when I closed and reopened the app, it isn't doing it. I don't know how I was holding my mouth to get it to do that! :P – Rob, on September 02, 2009 22:23

Easy One Click Access to Message ViewsThunderbird 3.0 allows easy one click access to different message box views (i.e. All, unread, etc.) in the left nav. Will this be incorporated into Postbox?

Hi, Scott! Yes, I do use a master password. I think you're right about Lightning. Do y'all know if this is a known problem to that team? – Rob, on August 20, 2009 02:20

And what would those alternatives be except for advertising? Most of OpenSource is maintained on a volunteer basis. Frankly, I think people have no idea what it takes to develop and support a software product in this day and age. – Rob, on August 13, 2009 02:52

I just tried it again after uninstalling the Lightning Add-In and it worked fine. Then I tried it again and it took a few seconds to show up. Not sure if Lightning is related. BTW, in Thunderbird 3b4, you don't have to click off the card for it to update. The refresh is automatic and instantaneous. – Rob, on August 02, 2009 14:01

I removed the add-in and it is fine. This is a known problem with Lightning on Thunderbird 3b4 as well. – Rob, on August 02, 2009 14:00

Wow, I just don't understand how some people can think that all the time and effort that goes into developing a software product should be free. Especially if there is the expectation that there will be support and fast bug fixes. No one would expect to go into a store and leave with something without paying for it. I don't understand that kind of thinking.

Beta 14: Problems w/Address Book & Password PromptsStill have problems with Beta 14:
1) Mac Address Book changes are not reflected in the Postbox Address Book browser unless I close and reopen Postbox. Latest Thunderbird beta 3 does this correctly.
2) Still prompted more than once for master password when Postbox starts up. I have two tabs open, one mail, the second Lightning calendar attached to Google Calendar account.
Please advise.
Regards,
Rob

Hi, Scott! Yes, I am arrowing down through the messages. I've looked at the Error Console. There are some errors, but I'm not sure if they are related. BTW, once you open the Error Console and move the window to the back, you cannot get focus back by choosing the Window from the Window menu. It just sits back there. However, Command-~ works fine. Is there a way I can send you the error console log? – Rob, on July 24, 2009 20:01

Message Display Slow or Details Do Not Update Every TimeMessages are slow to display when selected from the list. Also, I've noticed that when I cursor down the message list with the cursor key and highlight a message, the currently highlighted message does not always display. The display shows the previously highlighted message. Has anyone else seen or reported this?

Paul, is this fixed in B14? It still exists in the current build.
