If I drag entire directories from my (Mac) hard drive over to the remote (linux) drive, the copy will frequently fail because it can't copy .DS_Store. I've completely deleted the linux directory (and its parent directory) several times---the only place these files are coming from is Expandrive, and still something is going screwy with the .DS_Store files.

(I'd much rather yell at Apple's Finder to actually make use of their "extended attributes" system instead of cluttering up the filesystem, but I guess we've got to live with the behavior for now.)

Incidentally, I haven't check whether Expandrive copies extended attributes...verdict?

Is there any way to the Finder from playing with .DS_Store files on Expandrive-mounted partitions? Can we at least teach Expandrive not to try copying those files to such drives?
