Best Banks for LessAccounting?I'm thinking of switching banks for reasons outside of LessAccounting. Everbank (my current bank) has never been well supported by LessAccounting so before I switch, is it possible to get a short list of banks that are well supported?

Import putting expenses in wrong accountWhen importing new qif files last week all of my expenses went into the wrong account. I thought I had clicked on the correct box (the second one) and not the account it went into (the first one), but user error happens, so I just fixed them all. This week I was extra careful and sure enough, all the transactions went into the first account again, even though I selected the second account with out fail. In the same import all of the deposits went into the correct account. I've moved everything to be correct, but since auto import has been down since February, it is pretty essential that manual import work. My account is notch8.lessaccounting.com

This is a serious change to the feature set for those of us in the case you no longer support. You have broken buxfer to the point where my wife and I will have to go else where. Please let us know if you change your mind about this unfeature. We just cant use your tool this way. I feel very strongly that this was a bad call, as objects Creditials are one to one with Accounts not one to one with Institutions. Please, please put this back, we really are otherwise happy with your tool. – Rob Kaufman, on August 05, 2009 22:23

I have the same issue. We emailed support about it back in May and never heard any thing! I finally went through and tried to clean up all my transactions manually, but now I can't sync to the separate accounts (mine are both Chase credit cards). THIS IS BADLY BROKEN. I'm a pro member, but still haven't heard back. I see this same problem in several other threads here. We really deserve some answers, even if they are just "we're working on it", any feed back would be good at this point.

Nope, still full of fail. When I type Everbank into the search box I get 4 options (Loan, Mortgage, Credit Card and Blank). Before I picked the blank one, thinking that was for checking/savings. Back in February that worked. In mid may it stopped working (around the 15th) and has not worked since. Now if I try and re-pick Everbank it says "Sorry that bank isn't supported yet". If I try and pick one of the other 3 (yes I tried all of them) it asks for my creditials for the account (including the specific security question Everbank in particular asks). I answer all of them correctly and get an authentication failure message. At that point the authenticating wheel is still spinning and I can only click "start over" or reload the page.

Tried following Allan's advice (since nothing else is working) and deleted importer (not the account). Can't add it back because it now says that Everbank is not supported and to try again in a few days. Everbank was supported in the past, but its not now? What changed? Is there a known time frame for it coming back?

I went ahead and manually imported the latest transactions so that I wasn't showing up to the 3rd company meeting in a row with out concrete financial numbers. I'd really like to see this fixed soon, and I hope I'm not going to waste even more time removing duplicates. I haven't heard anything back from either of you for almost a week at this point.

Ok, so I got super frustrated and tried deleting the auto import and re adding it. I can't seem to delete the existing import (ie it just keeps showing the X even after a delete is done) and when I go to add Everbank it tells me that bank is not supported and to check back in few days. Whats the deal here? How long is this going to be down for? Its been over a month now, which is totally beyond reasonable.

Hi Steven,
My in my less account (notch8.lessaccounting.com) there are two bank accounts setup. WaMu account is closed and does not need to import any more. I removed the auto import for it last week. The Everbank account does not have the current transactions still. LessAccounting only shows transactions up to the 15th of May (http://screencast.com/t/6jO4kNQ9vaF) while Everbank itself shows quite a few transactions since then (http://screencast.com/t/Od27JEgvr)
Direct answers
1) Yes there should only be one account importing (Everbank)
2) This screen shows the Everbank account as having autoimport (http://screencast.com/t/3p8HWPYjIM) so it seems like that is the one that should be importing.
Thanks for looking into this.
Rob

Auto Import not working agianAutomatic importing of my account seems to have stopped working on the 15th. I have the highest level account and am paid up (not on the free trial). My account is notch8.lessaccounting.com

Hi Steven,
I can understand your editing vs not editing position. I guess I don't care whether the client can edit my time card or not... I trust that they won't go screwing around. What's relevant to me is that my clients can see my time log. I don't care whether they can create they're own time entries in their own accounts or not. This seems like a common feature of your competition, and a relevant one for me. It doesn't feel like that feature should bare the substantial extra cost of maintaining many user accounts.

Hi Dustin, thanks for the reply. I realized after posting that they both had the same user/topic counts and so where probably the same. I'm using Adium, which had worked with Twitterspy before. I also tried using the copy of the bot at twitter@jwchat.org. It says "Unable to verify your credentials. They're either wrong or twitter is broken" (different error message same error)
Right now I'm typing in Adium:
twlogin orangewolf password
where password is really my 6 digit password
Rob Kaufman reported a problem in enjit on April 28, 2009 22:45:
Can not login with twlogingetting "creditials are refused" even though I'm 100% sure I'm putting in the right username and password. Was on twitterspy@jabber.org, logged off to go to im@twitterspy.org, now neither will let me log back on.
