Rob Watt reported a problem in Sunbelt Software on January 08, 2009 19:22:
Vipre won't update my risk definitionsI'm running Vista Home Premium on a new laptop. On returning home from a trip Vipre refused to update "because my registration has expired". However, my subscription has 9 months to go. I downloaded a clean version of Vipre, uninstalled, reinstalled, and now the setup wizard won't finish. When I put in my registration key, I am advised that my proxy settings may be wrong, but I'm not using a proxy server.
Could this have something to do with travelling and using internet hotspots? Could they have introduced a new variable somehow.
Anyway, I am completely naked (antivirus-wise) at the moment so a speedy reply would be appreciated. I have already waited 24 hours for a reply from support@....
Thanks.
