I agree, too many places to keep track of stuff. I rely on e-mail subscriptions for updates/notifications. Some people like SMS, others use Facebook, whatever, we need a single path of update and then go to what interests you.
Ability to subscribe with something like Google Reader would be good too.

Skype AppI would like to see some type of integration with Skype. I keep that on almost all the time for IM'ing with people not in my company.

We have some plugins between Scaffold and User Management, however none of them are complex plugins like those two. When this problem originally came up, we tried a simple "unload" and "reload" and that only causes more problems. The only fix for us seemed to be to un-install and re-install the plguin(s).

We've seen a similiar problem with Adaptvist's User Management Macro, after a restart of the wiki it was not loaded correcty (reported an action conveyor error) and had to be un-installed and re-installed. When we previously got the error with Scaffold it was after attempting to reload User Management, which I think may have affect Scaffold. This time with uninstall & reinstall, Scaffold was not affected. I don't know if any of this is related, but it seems strange to me that both plugins are having Action Conveyor errors, and it involved restart the wiki instance.

We have been running 2.10.3 since mid May. I posted about some previous issues we were having. The issue of "page does not display" did not start until yesterday. My post here was prompted by Atlassian's observations that there were many scaffold errors in the log file they were looking at.
I reloaded the Scaffold plugin (it was disabled per Atlassian's request) there is a "red" area.
-----load error-----

I have re-disabled the plugin at this time.

Log file errors related to ScaffoldWe are experiencing a problem on our wiki where editing or creating pages results in an error message "Page Not Found", even though the content is saved/created. Atlassian is currently looking into this, however they've reported that they are seeing a number of Scaffold related errors in the log files. Here is the example they gave me on the ticket;
---Log info---
2009-06-09 13:08:01,298 ERROR [TP-Processor9] [atlassian.confluence.servlet.ConfluenceServletDispatcher] serviceAction There is no Action mapped for namespace /pages and action name checkforscaff
-- referer: https://burthill.onconfluence.com/pag... | url: /pages/doeditpage.action | userName: robert manna
---Log info---
They have asked me to disable the plugin and test. Disabling the plugin had no affect, can you shed any light on the errors in our log? I can e-mail you a copy of the log file for review.
Thank you,
-Robert

After finally having Enterpise support address the issue that you identified a couple of weeks ago with 2.10.3 it seems like everything is running smoothly with regards to reporters and the linking macro. I un-installed and re-installed all the plugins after the change was made to our database.
Thanks very much,

robert reported a problem in CustomWare on June 01, 2009 14:18:
Linking plugin not working, Reporters have failed.I was downgrading the "Linking" plugin in order to see if I could get some links working that make use of this plugin and the "Link-page" macro. In that process, the links started working again with version 2.5.0, however in that process our reporters have stopped working. I've "reset" our plugin versions to where they were before I started testing and the reporters are still not working.
The code for the link page macro is:
{link-page:name=%content:title% - instructor notes|template=CourseNotes|parent=@self}Instructor Notes{link-page}
I should add that before I started testing I upgraded the Atlassian plugin "Confluence Advanced Macros" to the latest version. There are a large number or reporters not working, so it seems pointless to try to post code. In regards to the linking plugin, the link is not correctly rendering the "Content Title" into the text that is displayed on the page, even though the link works. The reporters that are not working are also all reporting based on Page Name I beleive, in addition to further data/details from the page.

We are also seeing issues with the Linking plugin. Links set-up to create a new page first time, then link to the page afterwards, are always creating new pages. They do not seem to be properly passing the page name data hence, it does not recgonize the page already exsists. Here is our current mark-up we are using in the livetemplate scaffold:
{link-page:name=%content:title% - instructor notes|template=CourseNotes|parent=@self}Instructor Notes{link-page}

Today, we seem to be able to edit Scaffhold pages using Livetemplate, however the formatting is screwy. I've added a comment to the Jira issue I opened, as well as a screenshot: http://jira.adaptavist.com/browse/SCA...

robert reported a problem in CustomWare on May 18, 2009 14:46:
Scaffhold failure on 2.10.3We just upgraded our wiki to 2.10.3 after testing on a secondary box. When we got to edit any pages using the macro "Livetemplate" we are dumped into the core wiki mark-up where the call to the template is. The scaffhold data displays correctly on the page before hitting edit. After dropping into edit mode, if you hit cancel the browser locks-up and the only recourse is to use the back button to go back to a stable page view. If you hit "save" you get a wiki error message that says the page does not exist. This is a major problem as we depend highly on scaffhold pages. using the preview tab while in editing mode also correctly displays all the scaffhold data.
