Robert replied on December 09, 2009 22:53 to the problem "WinXP - No apps found" in appsfire:
I used a workaround to get Appsfire running on WinXP other than English: create the folder C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR-USERID]\application data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
and copy the content of the following directory to this directory:
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\[YOUR-USERID}Anwendungsdaten\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
Appsfire then finds your apps.
Please keep in mind, that you have to repeat this step in order to include new apps you downloaded since the last run of appsfire!

Hello? Anybody already had the time to look into this? I would really like to use your app but cant...
One idea: could it be that appfire has problems with languages of Windows other than English? In German version, the iTunes backup archive is located in C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\[USER]\Anwendungsdaten\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup for example.
As there are 0 apps found when starting the sync, I guess appfire is just looking into the wrong directory.
Please help!

well, here is the code from wp-lifestream wordpress plugin which is generating these urls:
<?php class Lifestream_GowallaFeed extends Lifestream_Feed
{
const ID = 'gowalla';
const NAME = 'Gowalla';
const URL = 'http://www.gowalla.com/';
const LABEL = 'Lifestream_LocationLabel';
function __toString()
{
return $this?>options['username'];
}
function get_options()
{
return array(
'username' => array($this->lifestream->__('Username:'), true, '', ''),
);
}
function get_public_url()
{
return 'http://gowalla.com/users/'.urlencode($this->options['username']);
}
function get_url()
{
return 'http://gowalla.com/users/'.urlencode($this->options['username']).'/visits.atom';
}
}
$lifestream->register_feed('Lifestream_GowallaFeed');
?>
Hope, this helps!

Visit-Links from atom-feed show blank pageI integrated my recent visited spots into my livestream (wp-lifestream-plugin - http://www.ibegin.com/labs/wp-lifestr...)
The plugins gets the atom-feed for a specified user (http://gowalla.com/users/USERNAME/vis...) and displays the entrys in the livestream.
Unfortunately the links are broken; eg. when I try to call http://gowalla.com/visits/338085 I only get a blank page.

I waited up to 10 minutes and nothing happend. I restarted, nothing happended again. My backup is not encrypted and I use the latest version of iTunes (9.0.2.25). FYI: I have about 200 apps installed.

RSS-Feed for authorsAre you planning to offer RSS feeds for authors? I really would like to switch from twitpic to yfrog, but I need an RSS-Feed of all my images uploaded to include them in my lifestream. See Twitpic for an example: http://twitpic.com/photos/robert/feed...
Would be great if you could add this feature in one of the next releases!
