Saving me time and making my .MD safer!I love being able to store my Online account password in my Moneydance file when Encryption is enabled! Yay! Until I found this little nugget of a tip I was quite daunted by the thought of typing my bank password everyday to suck down transactions. Thanks Moneydance!

I have my moneydance database file on my Windows Home Server. My wife and I both access it without any problem at all. I would suggest pointing your daily backups on the C: drive of each system, on the Backup tab of the Moneydance preferences on both systems. I also would recommend turning off Autosave when running this way as its saving across the network and can give you some pausing, depending on your network configuration. Also, I'd not leave Moneydance open for long periods of time, this would encourage you bumping into a file-in-use problem as indicated by Sean.
Best part of this configuration is that Moneydance allows you to do this with ONE license. Moneydance rox!

Ya, like Sean said, find the .MD file for moneydance on the users login where Moneydance is working. Then move that file to any shared location on the system drive, I'd suggest c:\program files\moneydance
Then drag a shortcut to that file onto each users desktop and you are golden. When moneydance installs it associates with .MD files.
