PragueBob asked a question in Twitter on October 16, 2009 12:00:
Lists: two small bugs@PragueBob's beta testing of Twitter Lists reveals two small bugs:
1) My home page always shows lists "0" when I have actually defined 2 lists, so this count is wrong or not updating properly
2) If I make my list named "contacts" private, then Following becomes 0, when it actually should be 21, also after setting this list to private and then visiting the profile of anyone I am following the drop down for Lists does not have the follower checked in the list, and even if checked again, will not stay checked persistent, it disappears after the page is refreshed. And of course, visiting the List itself yields a warning that the list hasn;t been populated, which is of course untrue, since the stream of the 21 followed people is present right below this message.

Problem with Firefox Toolbar 3.1.6.12 running on VistaToolbar 3.1.6.12 for FIrefox causes both CPU cores to red-line before causing a C++ library error and then crashing Firefox completely. You must recall this update (rollback) and replace it immediately with the previous one until you can fix the problem!
PragueBob replied on November 20, 2008 15:45 to the problem "Bad Customer Service, Poor Processes" in Dell:
After making sure that Dell Czech Republic knew that I informed over 1000 followers on Twitter and also the post here, I received an apology for the mistake they made and a corrected invoice. I can easlily point out five or ten ways that Dell can improve things in the Czech Republic, contact me if you are interested in details, I am an expert in process improvement.
PragueBob reported a problem in Dell on November 20, 2008 15:00:
Bad Customer Service, Poor ProcessesYour customer service in the Czech Republic is the worst I've experienced in the Czech Republic in the past fifteen years. After making an error in my online order for an expensive laptop, they not only failed to correct the problem in a timely manner after numerous e-mails and a lengthy phone call, but they didn't even have the decency for apologizing for what could have been a terrible problem they caused for me (a Christmas gift that wouldn't work). Instead they made ridiculous excuses for their obviously bad business processes and accused me of not having enough patience. I asked for at least the decency of an apology, and instead got more lame excuses and in the meantime basic questions I had from the beginning remain unanswered, of course with no apology. Why should I spend any money with your company? I will be happy to turn over the names of the people causing the problem if that will help your problems! But I demand an apology from them directly or I will take this complaint to the highest level I possibly can!
A comment on the problem "Problem with sending DM messages" in Twitter:
Even though I can't reply directly from my own DM page or use the dropdown there, if I go to the user's profile and send from there it does seem to work, so at least I now have a work-around, so thanks! You should look into the problem though, I have seen other peiople complaining as well (check the @twitter from today) – PragueBob, on November 06, 2008 22:42

The users are in my dropdown and the icon is on their sidebar but I always get a message like: 'ShannonRenee' must be following you in order for you to send them direct messages – PragueBob, on November 06, 2008 22:38

No export/backup?An export feature is really necessary if you expect people use the site every day and enter lots of stuff, why would they do this if they didn't feel comfortable about being able to save their efforts "off-line"?

A comment on the problem ""Add to Feedly" (+f) button in the address bar is quirky" in Feedly:
However when I hit the back button and re-tried the add it went OK the second time around, so it must be a transient error... – PragueBob, on August 23, 2008 14:54

Update 1: It also seems that the page load must complete (or at least mostly complete) before the +f button appears in the address bar, while the normal RSS button appears almost immediately, so I suggest that you place the button as soon as you detect an RSS feed on the page to avoid making the person wait for the entire page to load before going to the Feedly add subscription page (you are loading the blog entries on this page in the background anyway so it is a "double-whammy" for the reader). Hope you don't find this kind of detailed suggestion annoying... :-)

"Add to Feedly" (+f) button in the address bar is quirkyHi Edwin, I'm starting to use the "add to Feedly" (+f) button in the address bar, but when I have several blogs open in different tabs only the first one will have the button and after I finish the add and go to the next tab I have to refresh the page in order for the button to appear in that tab, could it be that you are only adding the button to the address bar globally and not on a per-tab basis?
A comment on the problem "Firefox Cannot Find Feedly File" in Feedly:
Good suggestion! Yes, there is a way to tell IDM not to automatically download from a particular site, so I have done so for both of the sites you suggested that I "whitelist". I suspect there will now be no more problems, but if so I will let you know. I suspect you might get some other users with my problem eventually, so you will probably want to find some general solution anyway, but in my case it is now probably a non-issue, thanks. – PragueBob, on August 22, 2008 13:16

PragueBob replied on August 22, 2008 06:59 to the problem "Firefox Cannot Find Feedly File" in Feedly:
Update 2: I think the problem is only a real problem at install time or maybe when you push updates (if there is a zip file involved). After the install I allowed IDM to handle zip files again and it is causing no problems with Feedly at the moment, I will watch my download directory for mysterious zip files which might signal a Feedly update until you get back to me with your more general fix. I'm really enjoying Feedly and I have just blogged about it on Twitter (as PragueBob) where I'm also following your updates.
