Heating the desert (Poor energy distribution calculation).
Poor energy distribution calculation. Hohm estimates $14K in energy costs to heat my home and $48 to cool it, but I live in the Phoenix, AZ area (Desert Southwest). Maybe if the estimate had been 14K for cooling and $48 for heating I might understand (still wrong, but more understandable), but this imbalance in the heating-cooling ratio and so much of it in heating costs is very incorrect.
A comment on the question "check in from your placemarks?" in Brightkite:

This does not work for me. I send a "@home someTextGoesHere: and I receive back some confirmation message with locations that have Nothing remotely close to what I have created. It is like my Placemarks are ignored. I created a PlaceMark called "AJ" months ago and today I sent the text "@AJ Voted" and received back a message asking me if I meant the grocery store "AJ's". – RobertMiller, on November 05, 2008 02:04

Same as FrRalphz. I have noticed tweets showing up on my phone and not in Twitter or Witty. I can check those I follow and the tweets are listed on their page. It appears random.
