Robert Sanders shared an idea in Wakoopa on August 29, 2009 16:37:
Mark as uninterestingI'd like some way to mark programs/sites as uninteresting. Wakoopa continues to show me programs, like AOL Mail and Evony, in which I do not now and will never have any interest.-

A comment on the question "Is there an iPhone Application planned for future release?" in Ping.fm:
That could be caused by two things. Either you have location "privacy" or "fuzzing" turned on, which deliberately obfuscates your location, or you attached the location before the builtin GPS had time to reach full accuracy. I've made Pingle 2.0 smarter about accepting more accurate updates for a couple of minutes after you attach the location. – Robert Sanders, on May 20, 2009 12:26

Robert Sanders asked a question in Pixelpipe on May 07, 2009 14:49:
Questions about APII'm building an app, and I'd really like to add support for PixelPipe. However, the API docs are extremely unclear, and I foresee hours of fiddling around before I've found the magic subset of {Flickr,Gallery,Lifeblog} APIs that you support. Not to mention the Pixel API.
Do you have anything more detailed?

BTW, that's all going to be in Pingle 2.0, and I am accepting beta testers. Just send me your UDID at support@curioussquid.com and I'll get the first 20 folks into the next build.
Anybody who beta tested 1.0 can already test it. Follow @curioussquid for announcements on the next release. – Robert Sanders, on May 01, 2009 18:09

That's all fixed in Pingle 1.10, which is in the app store approval queue. – Robert Sanders, on May 01, 2009 18:08

I'm finishing up some new features for Pingle, including multiple Ping.FM accounts, drafts, much improved photo handling, built-in photo zoom/crop feature, OS 3.0 compatibility, ability to exclude particular services on a given post (e.g., if you posted something to Twitter and want to send it to everywhere BUT Twitter, you can just tap the Twitter icon to disable it), etc.
Anybody who owns the current version of Pingle in the app store will get the upgrade for free. So don't wait.

A comment on the idea "Image link at end of ping" in Curious Squid:
It's a good idea, but it doesn't really. I'm looking into adding support for Twitpic, but maybe we could all convince the Ping.FM guys to make end-linking an option. – Robert Sanders, on April 20, 2009 16:17

Robert Sanders replied on April 19, 2009 20:11 to the problem "Cannot Ping images over EDGE" in Curious Squid:
Maximum quality costs you a LOT of time for minimal benefit. In fact, in version 1.1 I've made it harder to shoot yourself in the foot with the quality settings.
See the FAQ on image quality and upload time issues: http://curioussquid.com/home/pingle/faq/
Your best bet is to reduce the quality setting for now. Due to a bug in 1.05 the images may end up much worse quality than you specified; v1.1 fixes that too. Look for the upgrade in a couple of weeks.
