Miroguide.com is working for me right now here in Montreal, Canada. Both in Miro and in Firefox.

However, a few hours back, the guide didn't load but instead, showed a page saying that it was sustaining heavy traffic and gave me a list of popular video feeds to subscribe.

Do you think this solves the problem? Mark it as solved

I also have this problem... there's a blank screen for where the video should be when I "Watch" (stream).
It seems that only Hulu, Youtube, and other flash based videos work.

@JED: What plugin would I be missing? I thought Miro came with VLC.

I tried installing VLC standalone as well but then I encounter another problem: the video shows up but it stops after about one second, no audio. And there are no controls, play/pause/FF/Back, etc.

I'm on Windows 7 x64 running the latest 2.5.2 build.

If someone could help, I'd be extremely grateful... this software has a lot of potential and I would love to have it working on my computer. :)
