Hmm, I just tried to grab the latest version of the Linux widget to convert it to an RPM as per my own instructions earlier in this ticket, and I get toggl-desktop-2.0.0.3-2.i386.rpm, not toggl-desktop-2.0.4.0-2.i386 which I currently have installed.

What's going on?

I guess that's what I'd have to do at the moment, ie. invoice in USD from my USD FA account, then re-create the invoice for the equivalent GBP amount in my GBP FA account. It would be a real hassle though.

I have the same requirement - operate in GBP but need to invoice in USD + EUR.

I'm currently evaluating Xero.

Having read James' suggestions, I think that would satisfy most of my needs too.

I only have GBP bank accounts, but I need to invoice in EUR and USD, and also charge expenses in both currencies - often incurred in GBP but billed in EUR or USD!

I also receive some payments in the billed currency via Paypal. This is then withdrawn to my GBP bank account.

It sure would be nice to keep track of all this in one place.

Any news on this? The toggl widget is the only i386 software running on my system right now. It would be nice to get an x86_64 RPM build so I can lose all the i386 libs.

Since I start a new job on Monday, and am running Fedora 11 on my home workstation, and need to track my time, I just re-visited this.

Here's what I did:

- grabbed the i386 Toggl widget .deb package
- grabbed the latest alien tarball from:
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/s...
- unpacked the tarball, and installed alien
- converted the deb to an rpm:
$ alien -r toggl-widget-current.deb
- installed the RPM:
$ sudo yum localinstall --nogpgcheck toggl-widget-0.3.4.0-2.i386.rpm

It works.

Would still be nice to have an official RPM, plus x86_64 versions of both the .deb and RPM.

I've lost count of the number of times I've tried to report a problem but just ended up back on the main page when I hit submit.

It's incredibly frustrating. Oh, and openid authentication doesn't work.

A further update...

It is possible that step 4. (installation of the toggl widget) will fail due to unsatisfied dependencies.

If this happens, simply install the required dependencies and re-try.

When I installed on a second machine I had to do this:

sudo apt-get install libqt4-core

before the toggl widget would install.
