no its partially down I had to search for one outside of USA to gett one that woud not time out when trying to load twitter.

this proxy site will let you on twitter for the time being untill the site is fully fixed. I just tested it.

Too many spamers were doing it so they put a stop to it.

I am guessing that some of the servers may be down and that could be part of the reason some can get on but others cant.

You have to remember they are located in San Francisco so they are probablly still sleeping its only 5:34am there.

Others have got on it I had people check. for me. but we cant get on.
they checked 10 min ago and got on i can see tweets with friendfeed only. I am in Cincinnati on Zoomtown for my internet. I even had my provider check i called them and they even said it was down.
