I'd really like to see this also... I have severe Twitter-related ADD, and as soon as I see the icon turn blue I'll click on it. I'd really like to set it to 30 minutes or an hour.

I think you underestimate the number of users who have portable computers that they can use atop their lap. "Lap Tops", I call them.
