The .deb made from Alien said it installed Songbird, but it won't launch. Says it doesn't exist. Is there any HOWTO for installing Songbird on Ubuntu?

Hey, I have an iPod mini. It appears as though support for this is not available with the current Songbird. Can I expect support for it soon?

Songbird doesn't recognize my 1st gen iPod Mini, either. Music player on Ubuntu recognizes it, though.
