Ok, I have be frustrated waiting for 'Friend Book' like so many others.
So looking though the App Store I found another app that looked like it would do the same thing...group my contacts.
If any of you out there go looking for a substitute like I am, don't get the app
"Contact Grouper" It's a rip-off.
You make all the groups you want, then attach your contact to the group. And all you have at the end, is the name.........."John Doe family".
Your contacts are the same, just with an added attachment.
I know John Doe is my family, I put him there. I want John Doe in a Group named....Family, with the others of my family so I have all my contacts in groups. Why is this so hard for you programers to understand.
Ok, I will be pacient and wait for you to finnish "Friend Book". And if you need some incentive....I paid 99cents for the worthless app, just to delete it after finding it did not do anything.

ah....Jason. I see by your post, "I'll just keep using the old FriendBook.." Is there anyway you could put your app. out there for some of us less 'Fortunate' could use the app. for the first time. Gee....I realy feel sorry for you....having that OLD Friendbook to put up with.

Ok, that good to hear. Bad information is better than NO information. I will wait until you work though the App. problems. It's just been a long time, ya know.

my iPhone....but wait....the 'Freind Book' might be out soon...I should put all that work off until ....... they fix the handshake....no.....who knows when that will be?????.
Geee, should I get the next best Phone Book app. I can find, yeah. But what to do when Friendbook does come out??? So many choices.....what to do?????

OK! I have an idea. From the comments on this message board Mike was the brains behind much of the programing. And "Friend Book" was his creation. Mike, if that is the case, and you want working capital. Start by working on that program, fix the problems and I for one will by it. Giving you the working capital you need to move on with your desires of the moral company that you wish to build. I would pay...say up to two or maby three dollors to get you on you feet. Let me know.

i have a thought, ....git on with it. One person is not a company. I did not know Mike at all. Just looking at your apps. If he is gone...by by. He sounds like he knows where he is going anyway. You started something...finish it.

Hello again. Have been watching for any news on 'Friend Book' This looks like "OLD" news. We all know what and why it got pulled. The real question is...why not just put out the Address Book. Ya know there is nothing out there that gives up the ability to group our contacts. And if anyone else would like to stop scrolling though hundreds of names to find the one you want to call......(although it is fun to watch all the names fly by) Just give us more info as to what the Phone Book realy is. I have a PC and working with Windows Contacts is not much fun. I have tried Google also, but it has no way of grouping...work, family, friends, at all. I would like to know if 'Friend Book' has that ability. Not having the app to look at, I just don't know.

I have had that question from the start. I just wish I would have got to the download before it got pulled. You have to realize that most people on iPhone's have a gameing mind set. Why else would there be games over 90% of the App's Store. I am a bit to old for games. But I would like to have a nice Phone Book.

Ok, I see what happened. But the 'handshake' ability is not at all what I am interested in. The Address Book. That is what I need. Contacts do not work on PC's you have a thousand phone numbers and no way to divide them into...Friends...Family....Work....Office....JUST PUT THE FRIENDS BOOK OUT THERE.....and they will come. I would never use the handshake device anyway. Why would I want someone else to have numbers to people close to me. Just let us have the Phone Book. Please.
