Hi Matt,
Let's continue this thread in e-mail... could you please email us at support (at) xumii.com with this information:
- Your mobile # / Login
- Your Phone Model (Nokia E71x)
- Your Carrier (important)
- The exact date and time on your phone
- Where did you download Xumii? GetJar / the Ovi store / directly from Xumii?
Different carriers have different security certificates. Xumii should work on most carriers, but if you're downloading on a network such as T-Mobile USA, you'll get a certificate error.
Let's solve this!

Hello Eric,
We would also like to investigate removing our company's page.
How could we go about removing our company's page or redirecting users to our own feedback form? We are doing this for the protection of our consumers' privacy.
Does a company get the right to delete consumers' posts if they pay GetSatisfaction for a premium account?
Best regards,
Romy

http://www.xumii.com/content/feedback
Please include this information:
- Your mobile phone number - the one you use to log into Xumii. Have you downloaded Xumii and signed in from your phone?
- your gtalk account
- Are you using Xumii Groups on the web?
Romy Ilano replied on May 15, 2009 22:36 to the question "Why do I have to sign in with my mobile number? Will Xumii use this for telemarketing?" in Xumii:
Xumii will NOT spam you or attempt any other kind of telemarketing activities if you give us your phone number.
Xumii uses your phone number as your login. We’ll be able to verify your identity with your phone number in case you forget your password.
Xumii allows you to chat and contact friends on your mobile phone’s browser with the Xumii Mobile App.

I just joined Xumii Groups on my PC, but I don't have Xumii installed on my mobile number. Why should I log in with my phone number if I'm logging in through my web browser?
Romy Ilano replied on May 15, 2009 22:33 to the question "How do I share flickr Facebook or MySpace photos in a Xumii Group?" in Xumii:
Xumii Groups are still in beta, so there's more on the way, but at the moment you can share photos from your social network photo albums if you have the Xumii Mobile App.
The option is available under "Share Media" while inside a public group chat.
Reference: Sharing Media in a Xumii Group
If you have the Xumii Mobile App:
- From the main menu select “Group Chat” and then scroll to the “public” tab. You’ll see a list of public groups that you have already joined.
- Select “Options” and then “Share media.”
- Choose from your photo albums.

How do I share flickr Facebook or MySpace photos in a Xumii Group? How do I share my flickr or Facebook photos in a Xumii Group? Can I do this from both my mobile phone and the web? Can I share photos while I'm messaging in my iPhone's web browser?
Romy Ilano replied on May 15, 2009 22:18 to the question "does Xumii work on web w/o the phone client?" in Xumii:
Paul,
There's a new beta feature -- Xumii Groups -- which you may access without downloading a Mobile App.
You can access Xumii Groups from either a web browser (http://www.xumii.com) or from your mobile phone browser (m.xumii.com)
Note that Xumii Groups are a separate product from the Xumii iPhone App and the Xumii Mobile App.
In Xumii Groups you can message your friends from various social networks in a public setting.
For status updates, phone calls and photo sharing and uploading, you'll need to download the Xumii Mobile App or iPhone App.
Cheers,
Romy
Romy Ilano replied on May 15, 2009 21:35 to the question "Why can't I see my friends' status updates in the Xumii Facebook App?" in Xumii:
You won't see status updates, news messages or Group chats on your Xumii Facebook app, which is installed on your Facebook profile page.
You'll see your Mobile Wall in the Xumii Facebook app, which is a sort of permanent bulletin board for all your Xumii and Facebook contacts to leave you notes, photos, videos and gifts from their mobile phones or P.C.s.
Xumii iPhone App users: At the moment, the Xumii Mobile Wall is not part of the iPhone App's feature set. You'll be able to access your Facebook photo album and give gifts to Facebook friends, but you won't be able to view your Mobile Wall. Keep checking because more good things are yet to come.

When I register with Xumii it says that I'm giving Xumii permission to access my friends' status updates. When I go to my Facebook page, I don't see status updates.

UPDATE!
At the moment we have a beta version of Xumii Groups available for iPhone users.
You reach Xumii Groups by pointing your Safari browser to: m.xumii.com then tapping on "Groups."

Note: Xumii Groups is not inside the iPhone App. The product is an iPhone web app. However, all the social network identities and friends that you've added when using the Xumii iPhone App are accessible in Xumii Groups.
That makes it even easier to invite people!
