Error message "Operation Failed" when installing - make sure the time is correct on your Sony!Sony Ericsson users: Do you get the message "Operation failed" when trying to install Xumii?
Check the time and date on your phone and make sure that the date is the correct year! Sometimes you might reset your phone to its original settings it might take you back in time and send you to 2007!
The security certificate for Xumii will get confused and your phone will prevent you from installing Xumii on the handset.
So just make sure that the time's correct!

Romy Ilano replied on April 14, 2009 20:17 to the question "Why can't I log into AIM?" in Xumii:
Kellen, sorry to hear that that's happening.
- Have you created more than one Xumii account? Have you registered your AIM login to more than one Xumii account?
- Is your AIM login an email address? At the moment you can't sign in with an email address as a userid for your AIM service. We know about this and we're working on it.
If your answer to both of these questions is "no" then please email us: support (at) xumii.com
Please include in your email:
- mobile phone # / userid
- aim identity
- phone model (iPhone or Nokia/sony etc?)
- country and mobile network

Fabio, we can't guarantee or help you out with phones that we don't have our our supported phone list page:
http://www.xumii.com/content/phonelist
However, I do know that many handsets are compatible with software from other handsets.
You can go to the Xumii GetJar page and experiment yourself, but for obvious reasons we can only help you with the phones that we have listed at the moment.
http://www.getjar.com/products/17090/...
You'll be able to sideload the appropriate files from this page.
Romy Ilano replied on April 09, 2009 17:50 to the question "No Updates on iphones Updates Tab" in Xumii:
Regarding status updates:
Xumii performs real-time status updates, so if your friend updates his or her status after you've logged into Xumii, it will show up on your Updates tab. There might be a slight delay.
As we preform real-time status updates, you won't see status messages from the time when you weren't logged in.

Sandra,
Do you have either the LG 8700X Shine or the LG Keybo?
Neither of these is on the list of supported phones on our handset page, but they actually might work.

Do you have a data plan? It would hurt to give Xumii a spin and tell us the results!

Nokia users "Certificate error. Contact the application supplier" when installing XumiiIf you're a Nokia user and you try to install Xumii you might get this error message:
"Certificate Error. Contact the application supplier."
Make sure to check your phone's date settings--are they current? Is the day listed today's date?
Once you correct the settings, you should stop getting this error message.

Romy Ilano replied on March 26, 2009 01:15 to the question "How Can I delete recent chats from my ipod touch?" in Xumii:
Hi, you can't delete messages from your iPod Touch chats on Xumii. Are you just trying to get rid of clutter from numerous chats? I'll pass your feedback back to the team.
Note that even if you could delete the messages visually on Xumii, once the other person on a network like, say AIM has received the messages, then they would have the message in their system. So deleting the message on Xumii wouldn't mean that the message is deleted on your buddie's end as well!
