At the moment Xumii works as a mobile app for J2ME phones and the Apple iPhone.

There is a Facebook app that allows you to post from the web from your Facebook profile onto your Xumii Mobile Wall. This is only for our Java app at the moment.

The iPhone currently doesn't allow third party background processes running, so that's why you lose your connection when you hit the home button.

Note that there are a few features coming very soon that will outpace the iPod Touch 1st generation, but we do work on the newer iPod Touches.

When I try to add a community on my Xumii iPhon application, a new page loads and reads "No suitable nodes are available to serve your request."

This applies to all communities I try to add from the Xumii list on my iPhone 3G.

There are some features on the iPhone app that we don't cover at the moment (don't worry, there's new stuff on the way though :)

- mobile walls
- group chat
- sharing youtube videos
- changing your status across individual communities ( you can change your status across all your socialnets at once though)

It takes 0.6 MB of space and you'll need either an iPhone or iPod Touch (2nd generation) that has the iPhone 2.2 Software Update.

The Xumii upgrade (1.17.15) should be sent automatically to your BlackBerry the next time you log in. We have an issue with this right now, but the good news is that getting the upgrade is quick and easy:

1. delete the older copy of Xumii from your BlackBerry
2. Point your BlackBerry browser to m.xumii.com/get and download Xumii
3. Install the new version of Xumii.

There are different ways to get an upgrade of Xumii;

1. Start Xumii up on your phone if you already have it installed. You'll get an upgrade message if you don't have the latest version. Say "Yes" and you'll get the new version of Xumii on your handset.

2. Point your phone browser to m.xumii.com/get and download away!
