Romy Ilano replied on October 31, 2008 23:45 to the question "FACEBOOK FRIENDS APPEAR OFFLINE ON XUMII WHEN THER ARE NOT!!!!" in Xumii:
OK here is a reason why this is happening, regardless of your handset:

- If you are both Xumii users, you can see when each other is online with Xumii and can chat mobile-to-mobile.
- If your friend doesn't have Xumii and only has Facebook, then they won't show up as online when they are logged into Facebook because we don't currently support Facebook Chat.
- We are ready for mobile-to-desktop Facebook chat, but need to wait for Facebook to open up its chat feature via Jabber, which was announced back in May but is still being worked on by Facebook.

Romy Ilano replied on October 29, 2008 16:48 to the question "Can I download Xumii to my computer and then install it to my phone?" in Xumii:
You can sideload Xumii to your computer by going to the Xumii page on GetJar: http://www.getjar.com/products/17090/...
This is an option for more advanced users, as it's up to you from this point to get it from your PC to your mobile phone.
As always the best and simplest way to get Xumii is directly off the Xumii website, as that's where the freshest version is. We're coming out with new features and versions all the time!

Romy Ilano replied on October 16, 2008 01:08 to the question "Xumii for HTC Touch [Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro]?" in Xumii:
Hi HomesickSurfer,
It seems like you've only downloaded one of the essential files, the JAR. Did you get this off of a forum and not from the Xumii website or GetJar?
Try downloading again--there's more than one way.
1. Point your WAP browser to http://m.xumii.com/get
or
2. If you want to download it to your computer and install it to your phone from there, you can go to the GetJar website.
http://www.getjar.com/products/17090/...
This should do the trick!
