Hi Debra,
The problem is that the world doesn't want to raise everybody's wages up to our standards, they want to drop us to the rest of the world's standards. Until we continually contact companies that send our jobs to India, Bangladesh, Mexico and a horde of other countries, they will NOT listen to us.We have to boycot their products/services and tell all our friends to do the same or nothing will change. We can also contact our representatives/senators and DEMAND tougher taxes/controls on these companies. Until we hit them in the pocketbook hard, nothing will change. Try going to Wal-Mart and buy a polo type shirt that is made in the U.S.! Impossible.
We can stand up together and fight this major problem or we can lie down and roll over and one day find that our country is owned by India, China and several other countries.
