Thanks for your query Gary. We are having some minor server issues at the moment, so bear with us. But in the mean time, for the best positioning make sure cell and wifi is turned on in the settings and to bookmark a place about 5-10mins after arriving there to get the best accuracy.

We are really looking at better implementation of profiling than vCard, we need used to use it in the past, but it is open to privacy issues.

I personally go with the philosophy of bookmarking places that are meaningful to you/your life. You are expressing yourself through the places that you go to afterall.

I only ever bookmark a place if I am there over 10 minutes or if it has some meaning in my day. So 'Bus stop 52' is a big nooo for me, and why would you want to share that with your friends anyway...

Hey Christian, the 'Set next place' dialog has an auto-complete feature, so if you start typing the name of your next place it will search your bookmarked places to complete the text.

When you bookmark a place as public, it is then shared and other people are allowed to be associated with this place. Your friend will not be automatically placed there at first, but the place will appear as nearby in the Nearby Tab. If the friend selects the place from nearby then your friend is associated to the place also, and will automatically placed there in the future.

It does seem like Symbian selectively renders text direction in some cases...

This Auto-connect is replaced by "Access Point to use" with the options "Always ask" and "User defined". Always ask will ask you to select an Access Point we first starting the client or when going from an Offline to Connecting state. User defined always uses the last selected Access Point.

There are now user Preferences to manage this a bit better from development build 0.02.57 onwards.
