Ross Veitch replied on November 25, 2009 06:02 to the question "Cheapest flights available please....... Perth to KL return" in Wego:
Hi, we don't currently offer an easier way to search other than entering dates for each combination but we are working on one. For PER-KUL your cheapest option is likely to be AirAsiaX.

Hi Eewah, sound like a technical issue either with Wego or the partner website we were trying to transfer you to. If you still have it open, hit the back button in your browser, hit "Select" on the same fare or room rate and give it another try.
If it still doesn't work I suggest you go to the travel partner site directly and try rerunning you search there. And do let us know which partner website you were trying to book with and we'll try to work out what went wrong.

Ross Veitch replied on July 29, 2009 02:11 to the problem "problem in your affiliate system" in Wego:
This is very strange. It's possible we have a load balancer or Akamai configuration problem for that URL. We'll do some more digging.
In the meantime try a shift-refresh on that page or starting a session with a different browser/connection/pc (if that's possible).

A comment on the idea "Multiple monitors: Add hotkeys/shortcuts to send active window to next or previous monitor." in Irradiated Software:
Many thanks for implementing this feature. The Multiple Monitor Actions aren't quite working correctly for me though in SizeUp (1.1). The relative positions of my 3 screens as far as SizeUp is concerned is different to the way they are set up in System Preferences > Displays > Arrangement.
From left to right my setup is:
1. MacBook Air -- 2. Monitor via mini-DisplayPort -- 3. Monitor via Ext USB Video Card
NB: The center screen (#2) has the menu bar and dock.
SizeUp thinks my monitors are arranged as:
2. Monitor via mini-DisplayPort -- 1. MacBook Air -- 3. Monitor via Ext USB Video Card
One other issue: ctrl-option-right loops continuously but ctrl-option-left doesn't loop. ie. When you get to the "first monitor" pressing it again doesn't send the window to the "last monitor".
Let me know if you need any further info to debug these issues.
Thanks again. I just went and bought a license! – Ross Veitch, on April 21, 2009 02:18
Ross Veitch shared an idea in Irradiated Software on March 17, 2009 07:06:
Multiple monitors: Add hotkeys/shortcuts to send active window to next or previous monitor.I run a Macbook Air with 2 external monitors. The 1st via the built-in mini-DisplayPort and the 2nd via a Sewell USB to DVI External Video Card (Highly recommended BTW). It would be great if SizeUp/TwoUp could add hotkeys to send the active window to the next or previous monitor. Finding a way to move or replicate the menu bar across the top of the monitor with the active window would also be cool.
There's a very popular product called UltraMon for Windows that does exactly this but the developer has stated he has no plans to create an OS X version. I've been unable to find anything comparable for OS X. I think you'd find there would be quite a lot of demand for this functionality.
Ross Veitch replied on March 16, 2009 10:42 to the problem "Great rates for wrong hotel." in Wego:
Hi Helen, many apologies for this. As you know we compare rates across dozens of websites in real-time and in order to do this we need to match hotel rates from each website. We do this with a mixture of automated and manual techniques and in this case we screwed up. We'll get this fixed right away. Thanks for reporting the problem.

Ross Veitch set one of Ross Veitch's replies as an official response to "Hydro Majestic Hotel Penang- Rates and photos need urgent updates" in Wego
Ross Veitch replied on December 05, 2008 04:46 to the problem "Hydro Majestic Hotel Penang- Rates and photos need urgent updates" in Wego:
FAQ: How can I update the information, photos or videos for my hotel on Wego?
The hotel data on Wego comes from multiple sources but if your property is GDS bookable then the text based information about your property was most likely sourced from Pegasus (www.pegs.com), the photos from VFM-Leonardo (www.leonardo.com) and the Videos from Prevu (www.prevucorporation.com).
We perform regular updates of the static data from Pegasus, Leonardo and Prevu. When you update your data with these companies the updates will flow automatically through to Wego (and many other travel sites). It should never take more than a month between you making the update and it being live on Wego.
If your property is non-GDS bookable then we probably sourced the data from one of our other hotel booking partners so you may need to update your data with them and that will automatically then flow through to us. We update this data less frequently so it may take a month or 2 before you see it reflected on Wego.
Alternatively you can drop us note with your property details and what you need updated via the "Contact Us" form (select "Hotel Data Updates" from the Category dropdown) and we'll get your property data updated.

Wego is currently working on tools for individual property owners & marketers to directly add/update property data to the Wego database. Watch this space for more information.

Ross Veitch replied on December 02, 2008 02:10 to the question "Any extra charges?" in Wego:
On Wego we attempt to always show total prices inclusive of any taxes, booking fees, GST, etc. Unfortunately this is not always possible because some of the websites that we search aren't able to provide it. Where we can't show the total price we indicate in our search results that the rate excludes some fees & taxes (look for the "++"). In these cases you should check carefully on the hotel website that we link you through to before finalising your booking to see what's included and what isn't.

Hi George, the search result you are trying to click on has expired. Please try re-running your search and clicking through again. Apolagies for the grace-less error page. We're in the process of adding a proper error page for this condition explaining what went wrong and with a simple link to rerun your search.
