I have a bunch of ec2 servers running from ExpanDrive...

I don't know what is the best way is to do it, but here's how I do it...

I have an apple script that runs every boot up that does this:

do shell script "ssh-add /Users/me/.ssh/id_rsa_hrkeypair"

Then, I set up ExpanDrive with an empty password and it just works.

(make sure your keypair for the ec2 server matches the one you are running ssh-add on)

Roy - you should be able to connect into that server with no password in the server entry in expandrive - and it will "just work"

Hey Jeff, if the Amazon server isn't using a password but only a key, how do I get it going?

I have ssh'd into the machine in the console and it saved my key.

Mark - as you can see one post below yours Jeff just posted that at the moment ExpanDrive doesn't support FTP but only SFTP.

I am looking forward for this FTP support as well as many users I guess ;)

Jeff - I was remembered that SFTP Drive for windows supported both FTP and SFTP, thought ExpanDrive uses same both protocols.

I am having a similar problem. I can FTP just fine to a site with CyberDuck, but ExpanDrive gives me a bad packet length error.

We don't support FTP on port 21, unfortunately.

Roy - There are some old servers in which this seems to happen, if you had the ability to create a test account - I'd love to see if I could help debug it
