Richard Rutter shared an idea in foursquare on November 07, 2009 11:43:
Improve accuracy by using the postcode when adding places in the UKWhen adding places in the UK (technically only London at the moment) the add venue functionality seems to ignore the postcode. I recommend you update your search to use the postcode (rather than just a street address) as it's far more accurate and precise for the UK.
Incidentally you may have noticed that, while Foursquare has London as its only UK city, actually people are adding lots of places to Brighton as well (well pretending its part of London even though it's a different city, south of the capital).

On the same theme, I added a new venue here:
http://foursquare.com/venue/232301
But it stuck it in the wrong place. I would have been happy to correct it myself (maybe by dragging on the map, searching Google API or even manually typing a lat/lon) to correct it. The actual location is here:

I'd be grateful if you could update.-

Hi Jay. Firstly, can you check you have the latest version of Silverback - it should be version 1.02 (check About Silverback). The exporting has been improved in this version.
If you are using the latest version and still having problems, please drop me your contact details at rich-at-clearleft.com and we'll try to arrange exporting the session for you.

Richard Rutter replied on April 26, 2009 13:11 to the problem "Exporting Causes Crash. Can I still get the Video?" in Clearleft:
Hi Jay. Sorry you're having a problem exporting your session. You can get hold of the raw video file (the recording from the webcam) from your Silverback projects folder. The location of this is set in the General tab of your Silverback preferences. By default the location of the Projects folder will be in /Users/yourusername/Library/Application Support/Silverback/Projects.
In the Projects folder you will see a folder for each project you have set up (each named something like 9A2860A7-24AD-403A-BE5E-33153E14C58B.sbproject). Within each project folder you will see a folder for each session (named something like A0A5AA29-7C06-4911-9F4A-1C360756A094.sbsession). In the session folders the raw webcam recordings are QuickTime movies named VideoCapture.mov.
Regarding your crashes, please do ensure you send us the crash report so we can can get the problem resolved ASAP.

Thanks for telling us about this problem Rita. I've managed to replicate the issue here, so we are now working hard to fix the issue as a matter of urgency.
In the meantime all I can reasonably suggest is to export with the video set to semi-transparent and at its smallest setting, that way it will be as unobtrusive as possible.
Thanks for bearing with us.
