Hi wabenzi1951
Not sure what the goal here is. If you want to read emails on your 2 macs, i recommend using IMAP instead as IMAP was designed to handle reading email on multiple computers.
If you just want to backup your files from 1 Mac to another then you can backup your profie directory using Chronosync to the other Mac.
The profile can be found at:
* ~/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/<profile name="true">/
OR
* ~/Library/Application Support/Thunderbird/Profiles/<profile name="true">/

As for how to set up Chronosync, I suggest asking in the Chronosync forum:

Hi Hammerhead:
It sounds to me like you need to compact your folders. Try that if Sandy's suggestion doesn't help.
First do a backup:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_backup
http://kb.mozillazine.org/MozBackup (if on Windows)
To compact all your folders including your sent folder:
from http://kb.mozillazine.org/Compacting_...:
To compact all folders in an account manually, click the account on the left, and then click "File -> Compact Folders". Compacting an account may take from a few seconds to 10 minutes or more, depending on how much mail you have and how recently you last compacted the folders. If you have trouble doing this and the process stalls, try compacting one folder at a time by right-clicking on the folder and choosing "Compact This Folder". If you do not let Thunderbird compact automatically, you should do this regularly, at least once a week. If you do it daily, it will take only a fraction of the time.
If that doesn't work:

Sandy: thanks for helping Nick and Walter out! Only by folks in the community helping others like Sandy did can we possibly answer all the questions.
For what it's worth "Use Server defaults" works for me in XP and Windows 7 and Mac OS for Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 but perhaps Nick and Walter's server is different.
It could also be that you have to compact your sent folder:

Roland Tanglao replied on November 24, 2009 19:49 to the problem "Can't send email using comcast WAS:BET U CAN'T FIGURE THIS ONE OUT!!" in Mozilla Messaging:
Hi Brenda:
What Pasa is suggesting (if email is blocked, send the blocked email through another provider like gmail) may work but it also may not work. It may not work because the other provider may block outgoing email that doesn't use an outgoing address from them e.g. mail provider "foo.com" may disallow email with from addesses of "comcast.com"
I believe gmail will allow you to set the from to "comcast.com" and send outgoing email using gmail's server, but you have to do some verification first and here are the verification docs:
