It's not actually much of a problem for me at the moment. I've noticed that when I update Tweetie I have to change the Spaces config to a specific space and then back to all spaces; once that's done, though, it remembers the config until I next install an update.
That suggests that Spaces perhaps identifies the apps by an ID (is Tweetie signed?) rather than by name - that's probably where I'd look first, anyway.

File comparison in pane below directory comparison? When comparing directories, it would be nice to split the main window horizontally so that the lower half shows the file comparison for the currently selected row, rather than opening a new window for each comparison.
For large files, the lag between opening the file comparison window and the results actually being shown suggests that the interface might not feel very fluid like that, though. I’m not sure if caching or preloading could help enough to make it work nicely for large source trees.
Anyway, I think something like that would make browsing changed trees much smoother and it’s my main use for Changes! :)

Interface to manage URL shortening servicesIt would be nice to have an interface in the preferences to manage URL shortening services. There are probably two sides to this: managing the list of services you can use for shortening (I don’t really care too much about this one but maybe someone else does) and managing the list of URLs recognised as URL shortening services.
The existing URL preview for short URLs is nice but doesn’t work for services not in the list.
One possible solution: in addition to “preview short URLs” you could add “preview all URLs”. This would be easier than adding an interface, obviously. Maybe some indication of whether or not the URL actually redirects could be added to the preview window in that case.

Just noticed today that a similar thing happens with the favourite shortcut (F). If you enter the conversation with cursor right, leave again with cursor left, then the favourite shortcut no longer works until you select a different tweet.
May be a focus problem, then - visually, everything looks right but maybe something isn’t becoming first responder when it should.-

Rufus Cable reported a problem in atebits on April 20, 2009 16:26:
Can’t enter same conversation view twiceWhen you’re looking at a tweet in the timeline view and want to see the conversation, you press cursor right. When finished, cursor left returns to the timeline view with the original tweet selected.
You’d expect that you could press cursor right again to go back into the conversation view but you can’t. If you move down to the next tweet and back up again (cursor down, cursor up) then you can re-enter the conversation with cursor right.
This seems like it’s probably a UI bug.-

Tweetie doesn’t play well with SpacesI uses Spaces a lot and have noticed that Tweetie doesn’t work very well with this. If you close the Tweetie window with the hotkey, switch to a different Spaces desktop and then open the Tweetie window with the hotkey again, Tweetie forces a switch back to the Spaces desktop on which it was last seen.

Exposure crashes displaying tags if there are none in flickrIf you've got no tags in flickr, clicking More, Tags crashes Exposure. I'm using Premium, but I'd guess Exposure does the same too?
I guess adding some tags will fix the problem for me, but it's probably helpful to report it anyway :)
