Can Final Cut Server production media location be a MatrixStore Vault?
I do have a NAS for editing, but for all assets (and other files) in a production in FCSrv it`s not best suited to use another place and a secure place like a Vault (separated from the archive vault) in MatrixStore?
I`m asking this because my workflow probably differs a little bit. After capturing the material and Ingesting I want that this material be archived and reviewed by proxies only and retrieved from archive to our NAS only what it`s selected. So I could create a production for the material captured and ingested and archive. After a while it can be retrieved (part of it) and transferred to the NAS.
Am I messing everything up? There`s Lot`s of concepts and names... sometimes they didn`t do exactly what the name appears to claim.
    Regards

    Mac Pro`s as nodes
    Would this configuration work ok?

    - 3 Mac Pro MA970LL / A - INTEL®QUAD CORE XEON (octo)
    - 3 Highpoint Controller Rocket RAID 2320 8-port Controller
    - 3 MaxConnect SATA/SAS Link for Mac Pro ( http://www.maxupgrades.com )
    - 3 MaxConnect Optical bay Assembly ( http://www.maxupgrades.com )
    - 7 1TB SATA drives in each Mac Pro with RAID 5 (totalling 6TB in each).

And in the future, after creating a Vault for this drives (7 in each mac pro), if I want to add a external storage's, lets say 3 Promise Vtrak with a fiber channel card in each mac pro. Can I create another Vault and leave the first one (with the 7 discs inside the mac pros) intact and working as a Vault "together" with the new one (Vtrak)?
    Thanks

Final Cut Server on MatrixStore "Head" Node
When using Final Cut Server with MatrixStore, FCPSrv is Installed on the "Head" node of MatrixStore (where matrixstore server is installed)? Can I use all nodes as Qmaster cluster (for encoding through fcpsrv)? Can I capture (ingest) directly to the MatrixStore Archive (appearing archived in FCPSrv) or I have to capture Local, archive in FCPSrv, and then delete the Local files?

But it has to be attached through fiber channel? And lets say that I can attache any RAID (like firewire for example, or eSata) and later on I manage to buy promise Vtrack, It`s possible to maintain those "vaults" and add the Vtrack (with it`s fibre channel card in Xserve) to the same vault in matrixstore?

    Linux and Other Hardware Solutions
I saw that MatrixStore works on linux and any hardware that supports linux and I was thinking of trying to use my DELL NF600 (using linux, or even daring putting Mac OS X in it) or other dell servers, with DAS from dell (MD1000 and MD3000 -anyone know if this DAS works with XServe?- that are almost the same, except by the 4GB fiber-optic card to the XServe RAID). For that I would like to know if it`s possible and if there`s a MatrixStore linux version available for download as well.
