I don't know what you're talking about, that seems perfectly sized to me :-P
Unfortunately, the change has been stuck inside of a larger update that requires quite a bit of testing before we release it to the wild. I'd expect it within the next couple weeks.
I'll update this board and post a new announcement when it's been released.
Thanks!
A comment on the update "New StudentDocket update for all devices!" in StudentDocket:
haha, actually, we DID receive quite a few comments that the font was too small for Storm devices. Good idea on user-selected fonts. Perhaps we could do you one better and use the font-size already selected in the main BlackBerry preferences/options. I actually thought that StudentDocket already did that, but maybe not. We'll look into this as soon as possible.
Thanks! – Ryan, on August 26, 2009 15:51

Hi Craig,
Definitely some feedback, sorry for the delay in getting back with you!
We're actually in the process of planning out our next release of StudentDocket, so your email was quite timely. We're looking into the feasibility of several of your suggestions (media like notes and audio is a tough thing to coordinate, we don't want to make the application too complicated), but are really liking the future classes and different levels of importance.
As for the easier entry method, that's been on the list for a while. We're really just ironing out the best way of accomplishing this before we move forward.
Thanks again for the input! If you have any more ideas feel free to post them here or shoot us an email. If you're interested, we'd love to add you to our list of beta testers for new releases. We're always looking for people who are willing to help us out!

I've submitted this to our devs again for review. Unfortunately, it's been tough for us to duplicate the issue in order to fix it. Our understanding is that this MAY be an issue with the BlackBerry alert system. If anyone else is experiencing this issue, please also post with your blackberry os version.
I'll update this post when we've received an update.
For those of you waiting for a fix, restarting your berry seems to temporarily solve the problem.

Ryan replied on July 06, 2009 16:22 to the question "How can I backup this program?" in StudentDocket:
Hi Jaclyn,
Typically, StudentDocket should be automatically added to the backup list in newer versions of Desktop Manager, I'm sorry this wasn't the case for you!
To manually add StudentDocket to your backups, you'll need to launch the Desktop Manager, select Backup and Restore, and then Advanced. You can then scroll through the available databases and drag StudentDocket over to the left.
Please let me know if any of this is unclear.
Ryan replied on June 17, 2009 02:30 to the problem "Studentdocket doesn't support the european time format ?!" in StudentDocket:
Just wanted to send a quick update.
based on our tests, the date/time is being *saved* correctly, but is not displayed correctly on the screen. Fortunately, this means that all of your reminders (if you use them) should pop-up at the correct time.
I've submitted the issue to our developers, and we should have the displayed time corrected as soon as possible.
Thanks again for bringing this to our attention!

Hey Clexidra -
I just tested this on my BlackBerry and was unable to reproduce the problem. When creating tasks, 24 hour format stayed as it should (at 21.00). When creating assignments, it DID change the display to 09.00 PM but did not change the time to 9.00 AM.
I admit that changing the display for assignments is a little confusing, so we'll be looking into fixing this on the next release, but we're more worried if it's actually changing the time. Please let us know if this is the case, as well as your device and OS number. You can find this information out by launching your BlackBerry options and selecting "about".
Thanks!
Ryan
