Ryan replied on June 12, 2009 15:25 to the problem "Studentdocket doesn't support the european time format ?!" in StudentDocket:
Hey Clexidra -
I just tested this on my BlackBerry and was unable to reproduce the problem. When creating tasks, 24 hour format stayed as it should (at 21.00). When creating assignments, it DID change the display to 09.00 PM but did not change the time to 9.00 AM.
I admit that changing the display for assignments is a little confusing, so we'll be looking into fixing this on the next release, but we're more worried if it's actually changing the time. Please let us know if this is the case, as well as your device and OS number. You can find this information out by launching your BlackBerry options and selecting "about".
Thanks!
Ryan

Jenn,
Responded via email, you should have it now.
We're working on a better way to manage product keys than our current system, as you can see from the boards we receive this issue far more often than is acceptable. With any luck we'll have a better option rolled out within the next few weeks!
Thanks for your continued patience while we sorted this issue out.

Hey Liz,
Sorry for the added hassle. Please send us an email at support at StudentDocket dot com and we'll do our best to get you your key as quickly as possible. To help speed things along, it'd be great if you could include the site you used to purchase (studentdocket, mobihand, or handango) and the email address you used at checkout. Thanks!

Hey Josh,
Thanks for trying out StudentDocket and providing some feedback!
I was unfortunately unable to reproduce the issues you reported on my Storm, but I'm using a different build so I'll have to hunt around for your release and see if that's the issue.
In the meantime, can anybody else confirm these problems? If so, please post your build by entering options on your Storm -> about and copying that information.
Thanks!

Ryan replied on February 27, 2009 07:36 to the question "MWF Classes, etc." in StudentDocket:
To set a class for multiple days each week, you'll need to begin by setting the Date field to the correct day of the week (Monday for a MWF class for example). Once this is done, set the repeat rule to "Weekly" and then press on each additional day that you have the class on.
If you need to deselect a day, and clicking on it doesn't do anything, then it's most likely because the "Date" field is mistakenly set to that day.
Let me know if this doesn't help!

Alright, just another update so you guys don't think we've forgotten about you ;-)
We've received some great feedback from our testers, and think we've located the main problem. Unfortunately, we're going to need an actual Storm device to use while developing the bug fix. We've placed an order for one, and should have it shortly. Once that's done, we're hoping to pump out the fix as quickly as possible!
Thanks to everyone for your continued patience.

Hey everyone,
We've posted a short update on how we're doing with the STORM update, you can check it out here: http://www.studentdocket.com/2009/01/...
Basically, we're getting closer, but still running into some issues that need to be worked out. As for a timeline...we're still planning on having at least basic support for the STORM device very soon. I'll continue to keep this thread update as we get closer to a release!
Thanks!

Ryan replied on January 10, 2009 03:01 to the problem "Help with due dates" in StudentDocket:
D'von,
I've been trying to reproduce this error just about all day now, and just can't seem to do it.
From your last message, my understanding is that your class is T, TR, and you tried to create a task on thursday to make it due next tuesday, is this correct? I'm wondering now if perhaps the problem is that the application is simply checking the day, seeing that you have a class on thursday, and just setting it due that day instead of next tuesday. Does this seem possible, or do you experience the same issue if you try to create a task on a Monday that's due next class?
I apologize for asking so many question, but because I'm unable to reproduce the problem it's proving rather difficult to track down.
Thanks again!
Ryan
Ryan replied on January 09, 2009 06:42 to the problem "Help with due dates" in StudentDocket:
D'von,
The newest version was updated so that each new task is automatically set to be due on the next class. Is this not what's happening?
Any chance I could get which Blackberry OS you're working on so I can try to recreate the problem? To find out, simply launch options (or settings depending on your theme), then select "About".
Just in case, have you verified that the class is set to occur on the correct days?
Thanks for your help while we try to work out this issue,
Ryan

Russ,
We're working full steam-ahead on a Storm compatible version of StudentDocket, and don't expect it to take much longer. Our current plan is to release a working version soon, with feature enhancements to take advantage of the larger screen and touch capabilities a little later down the road.
I will keep you all posted as we get closer to a release,
Ryan
