Hello thanks for the response and help.
However I should apologise, with all these accounts I've managed to confused myself. The one I believed was the business savings is actually my personal savings which explains why it was not in FA... although being a sole trader and without real "business" accounts the differences are just symbolic aren't they?
I've added it to FA but should I mark it as a personal account and continue as you advise?
This is where I essentially pay myself, the personal current account is used for making non-business bill payments and purchases.
Thanks
Ryan

Hello,
I don have the current account on there but I've just checked and don't have the savings account on FA. Confusingly I do have another savings account used for saving money to pay tax, but separately to the general savings account.
I'll add the general savings account to FA used for the business now.
I hope that helps.
Thanks
Ryan

Money paid in to make a purchase for the business.First off I'm a sole trader, I have a current account and a savings bank account (neither are "business" accounts). Clients pay into my current account and then I move it into the savings account or my personal account as earnings.
Recently I paid money back into the current account from the business savings one to purchase a new computer (since I also make purchases from the current account). Was this a bad move? I don't know how I should explain money paid in from the savings for Freeagent and my self assessment return.

Project NotesI'd like to suggest the ability to add notes to a project. Currently most of my project notes are simply handled through email but it would be really nice to be able to copy and paste important parts into a notes section of the project (as well as simply keeping normal notes no the project).
I doubt this would have to be anything fancy, just a text area you can update and save.-

Purchases prior to self employmentI bought a laptop to do web design work back in November 2009, but I started freelancing as a web designer in February 2009. Can I put the laptop as an capital asset/expense on my 2008/9 self assessment?

blocked images showing up when forwardingHi, I've noticed even if I have images disabled from showing by default when I go to forward a message (I forward spam to a spam address) the images show up.
Maybe I'm wrong but don't some spammers use images to know if an address is active? If this is the case then every time I send a spam message to my spam service I'm also alerting the spammers and possibly downloading dangerous files.
Can this be resolved?

Loving Today!Just wanted to say I love this wee app. It does all it needs to do without getting in the way and has perfectly unobtrusive iCal integration. Unlike other similar apps I've tried recently featuring far to many options, Today is simply the easiest yet a powerful one of the lot.

I'm liking this idea, it pretty much answers the question I asked a wee while ago. Basically I'm after a way to create a project start it as a prospective job. I think what you've outlined would do that and more :)
One thing though... I don't invoice at this stage at the moment, so would it be possible to convert it into an active job and just continue from there invoicing as you would normally?-
