Ryan asked a question in Ping.fm on November 09, 2009 06:27:
How can I get links to display properly in Facebook? For Facebook Pages, how do I get links to display as a proper Facebook link instead of as a URL in the status update itself?-

Filter/search by number of followersIn an effort to help filter down search results, I'd love to be able to only see tweets belonging to Twitter accounts with X number of users or more... in other words, return tweets only from users with a certain amount of "clout".-

Daily RSS Summary FeedLike many folks, I try and keep up with numerous blogs via RSS (and through tools like Google Reader). I love Lifehacker, but it produces a lot of content in a given day... somewhere 10-15 new posts a day.
Anyway, I'd like to suggest an alternate RSS feed that provides a summarized view of a day's posts. This way, I can click on the entry in my RSS reader, and quickly scan through a day's worth of content vs. having to click each posts separately (stuff builds up fast!).
Thanks!

My [Mac OS X] Suggestions Four: Docklessness, a Menu Home, Global Shortcutting, and GrowlTo the Twhirl Development Team:
First & foremost, good work. This is a great Twitter client with serious potential.
Secondly, I know you've probably heard some of these before, but--in my humble view of course--for Twhirl to become a killer Twitter client, it needs to behave a bit more like other great persistent Mac apps that many of us are fond of (Skitch, Adium, & QuickSilver comes to mind). I'll cut to the chase:
1) Docklessness - Since, in theory, this app is running all the time and in the background, it's active-state icon shouldn't be in the dock. Perhaps make it an option? (also, I just realized Adium doesn't do this unfortunately).
2) A Menu Home - Need to be able to minimize Twhirl to the menu.
3) Global Shortcut - I love being able to pull up any of my persistent apps with a shortcut... Adium responds to Opt+A... QuickSilver perks up on Cmd+Space. I'd love to be able to pull up Twhirl the same way.
4) Growl - Not sure if Adobe Air can do Growl notifications, but if it can, this would great go towards Twhirl notifications playing nicely with all the tons of other notifications many have coming at us.
Anyway, like I said, I'm sure you guys have heard a lot of this before. Unfortunately, I couldn't find those threads so I thought I'd consolidate the sentiment here.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the matter.
Regards,
~Ryan
