Without the menu icon, how to access Hyperspace's preferences again?Well....it's simple:
In the new beta 8, i tried the new feature that allows to choose what is displayed on the menu bar. I set it not to show anything and now the question is:
How to access Preferences again?
Hyperspaces is runnig, there's no icon on the dock, no icon on the menu bar...I can no longer get to any sort of interface for the app, maybe I'm not looking on the right place...maybe it's a real issue.
Any thoughts?-

Sérgio Miranda replied on July 10, 2009 21:48 to the idea "Gmail spam shouldn't bold/highlight the account" in Postbox, Inc.:
I'm a bit on the OCD so I also hate seeing new messages and having to mentally ignore them.
On Gmail I have a Userscript that removes that bold and the unread count. In Postbox I just don't subscribe to the Spam label and that works. Since I ocassionally check my email directly in Gmail at places where i don't have Postbox, I just check to see if anything worth attention was caught by the spam filters and clean it up.

I consider myself to be a strong supporter of open source software, but I can see the place to iniciatives like Postbox.
What they must do is to never forget their roots, and to give back to Thunderbird part of their research and improvements the same way Thunderbird gives them a basis to work with.
Not the best example, but kind of like Wine and Crossover...

Folders within Notebooks? Will we ever see any sort of folder-like organization within Notebooks in Evernote?
I love this app, except for this. I absolutly cannot work with tags, they just aren't practical to me.

Limit on how many email addresses a contact from Mac's Address Book has?For any of my Mac's Address Book contacts, only the first two email addresses appear in their respective Postbox contact card. It seems that any address beyond the second isn't being imported or recognized.
In the Address Book window of Postbox, we have the Email and Additional Email headers, displaying those same two addresses for each contact. The absence of other headers for more addresses means this is limited by design?
I like Postbox alot so far! Keep up the good work

350MB? Never seen it go that high, not even close. How many space do you run and different wallpapers and with what size? – Sérgio Miranda, on May 19, 2009 10:03-

Sérgio Miranda gave praise in The CocoaBots on April 27, 2009 00:25:
It works.I love it.That's it.
After a few problems with losing preferences and other bugs it seems very stable now and it just works. I like how it improves my constant switching of spaces, and will be very curious to know what new features might come up to enhance it even further. The support is great aswell-
Got it from MacHeist so it even feels nicer being free but I will support it in the future if it keeps surprising me.
I just thought not enough praise was being given, specially from those who got it for free.
Well done, keep it up.

Disable some parts of Hyperspaces to save resources.I don't use some parts of Hyperspaces, so I think they could be turned off.
I don't use any of it's hotkeys and I disable them in the Preferences windows, so the background service for the hotkeys could be switched off when that happens. Having no hotkeys set makes that background process unnecessary. I usually kill it and everything works fine.
I also don't use the Switcher, just the corners of the screen and standard Mac OS hotkeys, so that part could also be disabled and save more resources if not being used.
It's just a couple of thoughts on optimizing the aplication, I still think it runs great.

I'm not really very concerned about Hyperspaces memory usage right now, it stays at 92MB pretty much all the time with 4 spaces with different backgrounds. On a MBP with 4GB that's not meaningful.
About speed, the transitions are pretty fast...I do however notice a small delay between hitting the keys and transition of the backgrounds. Might be just me being picky about it. I think the transitions are fast...just seems to me that they take an instant to kick in.
