A comment on the discussion "Vote for Thunderbird extension / add-on ideas" in Mozilla:
There is a setting to save the email in the same folder that it was received in (Account Settings, Copies and Messages, Place Replies the folder being replied to). It's certainly not as cool, but if you're organized, it does nearly the same thing. – sairtesyob, on July 24, 2008 18:25
