The plugins are, for the most part, third-party tools, and thus things like the calendar will not present you with a notification when they change. It's something for us to think about though, from a usability perspective.

I don't know for sure. It might be that changes made inside the calendar somehow aren't counted as changes on the wiki, which is why they don't generate notifications.

I'll ask about that though. It seems like something that would be useful if we can make it work.

Is it possible to retrieve page comments via the API? Then we could roll our own RSS feed for comments.

Calendar updates don't seem to generate e-mail notifications. Is this a bug or by design?
