Thanks Marc -- I kept working on it after sending that and discovered the problem. I'm using a transparent, fixed, PNG file for my header image (I want my posts to fade into the background as you scroll down), but it was too high and was overlapping the flash embed. This was causing the clicks not to register in Flash.

Do you think this solves the problem? Mark it as solved

I have one post in my tumblog (sonicoverlap.tumblr.com) right now (more to come of course) thats an MP3. The flash player shows up on my site using the JS embed, but clicking the play button does nothing.
