You can change your avatars skin tone by clicking "My Stuff" And then selecting "Avatar". You can choose a new default avatar there. Each one has a different skin tone :)

Sorry to hear you're having problems!

It sounds like you may need to update your video driver.

Find the manufacturer of your video card. This can be found in the display properties or in the manual of your computer.

Locate the manufacturer website and go to the drivers area to download your update.

It's most likely to be one of the following 3 manufacturers :

ATI : http://www.atitech.com/support/driver...
You must download ATI Catalyst completely ( 1 big download if you are on highspeed internet, or 3 parts if you are on a dial up modem )

NVIDIA : http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers...

Intel : http://www.intel.com/products/browse/...

If you use a DELL computer, you need to update the drivers from the DELL site:
http://support.ap.dell.com/ap/en/file...

Once you have installed the drivers your computer will restart.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble downloading our latest update.
Please follow the instructions below and clear your cache. If you have Firefox AND Internet Explorer please make sure you clear your cache in both.

After you have cleared your cache close the browser and reload Vivaty.

Internet Explorer 8

1. From the Safety menu, click Delete Browsing History... .

2. Check Temporary Internet files and History, and then click Delete.

Internet Explorer 7

1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options... .

2. Choose the General tab.

3. Under Browsing history, click Delete... .

4. Next to "Temporary Internet Files", click Delete files... .

5. Click Close, and then click OK to exit.

Firefox 3.5 for Windows

1. From the Tools menu, select Clear Recent History... .

2. From the "Time range to clear:" drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.

3. Click the down arrow next to "Details" to choose what history elements to clear. Click Clear Now.

Firefox 3 for Windows

From the Tools menu, select Clear Private Data... , and then check Cache. Click Clear Private Data Now.
Safari

1. From the Safari menu, select Empty Cache... .

2. When prompted, click Empty to confirm that you want to empty the cache.

If the eye icon does not work for you, you can also use your mouse to scroll in and out and right clicking your mouse and moving your mouse from left to right also gives you other views.

Yes, Katie is correct.
You need to purchase some more RAM to upgrade it.

Vivaty requires your computer to have a minimum or 1GB RAM for XP users and 2GB RAM for Vista users.

First of all you should find out how much RAM your computer currently has:
Go to the Start menu, click Settings, and then click Control Panel. Now Click System and then select the General tab. At the bottom of the page you should see the amount of RAM your computer has.

You should be able to find out the maximum amount of RAM your computer can hold, how many slots your computer has, as well as the speed, in your computer owner's manual.

You can purchase RAM at a computer shop in your area or online!

You can use your keyboard to move around by using the arrow keys or W,A,S,D or use your mouse by left clicking and then dragging your mouse.

You can also move to other scenes by clicking the Launchpad and then clicking "Scenes"

The ESC could will work but you need to click back into the scene first otherwise you will still be clicked into the chat area.

If you click anywhere else on the screen then press ESC it should warp you back into the entrance spot.

You can change your view by clicking the "Eye" icon, which is the fifth icon along at the bottom.

The required about of RAM(Memory) required to run Vivaty is:
1 GB on XP
2 GB on Vista

You can find out how much RAM you have by clicking your start menu icon, going to Control panel and clicking System.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble accessing your scene.
We had a small error our end which stopped some users accessing their scenes. The error should be fixed now and you should be able to access your scene fine!

Hello Lara,

The adult scenes are for users who are over 18 years of age.
It is defined by the date of birth a user inputs when registering with Vivaty.

If you go to your scene then click "My Vivaty" in the bottom left and click "Options", a box will open in the top left which will display the following:

"Scene Settings
Instructions:
18 and older: Only users 18 and older can visit your scene (selecting this will remove it from the Public Scenes Directory)"

There will be a box for you to tick. If the box is ticked your scene will then become an over 18's adult room.

It's worked on daily. We're still in beta and as new features are added new bugs are bound to appear but we do aim to fix the bugs as soon as they pop up!

Vivaty should now work fine on Firefox 3 and IE :)

Are you having problems downloading the Vivaty player or entering your scene?

Maybe you could tell us a little bit more about your problem.

How are you trying to end Vivaty? Via AIM , FireFox, Internet Explorer, Facebook etc?

Also what operating system are you running?
