A couple of quick notes:
* I will make starting a default document a preference when I add preferences sometime before 1.0
* Multiple select could be tricky, it's among some very useful features that I will probably attempt after 1.0
* The node sigils are pretty poor, I probably need help improving them as graphics are not my forte.
* Keyboard shortcuts are a good idea, I will look at them soon.
Now a couple of good points:
* To remove a token use the context menu. When you drop a note on a cell the "Add Note" menu option will become "Remove Note".
* I've fixed the direction jogwheels in the soon to be released 0.8.6

In case you didn't see the announcement, Elysium is now available for download as part of the public beta.
It's still far from a finished product but it's good enough & interesting enough for people to experiment with :)
Look forward to your feedback.
Matt Mower asked a question in New Relic on November 13, 2008 10:39:
Compare with yesterday: why no memory? So the 'compare with yesterday' option seems potentially useful except that my problems are mostly memory related and it doesn't show me the memory figures.
Is there some rational for this? Have I missed an option somewhere? Could it be added?

MAtt

Hi Adam.
I had intended that the public beta should already be available by now. However I am dependent upon a 3rd party to fix some issues in a framework I have used and, whilst I hope that in the next week these will be addressed, I don't have any control over that.
I'm very interested to see how people respond to Elysium and what they do with it. That said I am very limited in terms of "resources to share". I'm just one guy and music is my hobby, not my work. But I'll do what I can.
Regards,
Matt
Matt Mower shared an idea in LucidMac Software on October 30, 2008 10:59:
How about running Ruby scripts via MIDI control messages? How about wiring up scripts to MIDI CC messages?
The idea would be that you register a callback for a control number (e.g. 8) and every time that control message is received the script is fired with the current controller value.
Anyone think this would be useful?
