A comment on the problem "Cannot uninstall VIPRE" in Sunbelt Software:

I spent the last 2 1/2 hours on the phone with an ATT Tech and by trial and error discovered if you do a system restore going back prior to your install you CAN remove Vipre without cleaning the registry!
