Hi,
I meant creating Categories the way we create folders for Browser favourites or Folders in an Email client.
At this point there is no way to create a Research Category and add different Media types in 1 category (folder) like Notes, Links, Files part of 1 category.
There is no search feature in the drop, so having categories could go a long way. It will also help with external user we are sharing the drop with.
My recommendation would be to look at Microsoft LiveLabs Project called Thumbtack- http://thumbtack.livelabs.com/default...
Its like Drop.io's competition but has so many bugs right now but i am sure they will get to a stable app very soon.
2 features are missing - Categorize media & Search your content in a Drop.
Thankyou
Sanj

Thumbtack features & competitionThumbtack is better than few sites which are available right now. It would be great, if there is a way to attach/upload files and many other features like we can get on - http://drop.io/
Before I found Thumbtack, i asked Drop.io if we can create collections of Files,URLs,Notes etc & Search for them which we can in Thumbtack but there are many features that could make Thumbtack really attractive like RSS feeds on contents, chat etc.
I am thankful that these 2 sites are there for me to organize my research & share it.

How to categorize drops? Is it possible to categorize my drops (like some Links, Notes into 1 category & others into a different one). It will be easier to find them.

Is it possible to add value to corporate data using AideRSS?Is there a way to use AideRSS to an internal database repository for an organization? We work in the Corporate Social Knowledge network applications and would be interested to know if AideRSS can be applied to a records management system to provide value to internal content.
