I'm having even more problems just trying to start over! When I go to add/remove programs and try to remove AIR, it crashes. I can't get it off my system, and I can't get it to work while it's here.
I'm running Windows XP as admin when I'm trying to do this. Please let me know what other information you need to be able to fix this, because there are several programs that use AIR that I'd LOVE to be able to use.-

The installer crashes immediately, saying that Adobe Air has crashed. Adobe Air seems to hate me, since I can't get Twhirl to work, either. -
A comment on the idea "Text Message, SMS, updates from Mobiles to Ping" in Ping.fm:
The shortcode idea is terrific, but I find that I can send email by SMS from my phone (which is prepaid, so no fancy plans are needed). I do subscribe to the unlimited text messaging plan for $10 per month, since I have a couple of friends who prefer text to voice calls (also, my husband is deaf and it's just easier to text). While I was shopping around for a new prepaid phone plan a couple of weeks ago, I saw that Virgin.ca has an unlimited plan, but it doesn't cover shortcodes! – sarkasmo, on June 08, 2008 03:17 -
