yum doesn't have this option. but --nodeps worked with rpm.
got desktop running.

Is there a way in configuration to get files in new format: i.e. core-site.xml, mapred-site.xml etc instead of a single hadoop-site.xml? I do not like getting warnings in 0.20 version every time I run hadoop with hadoop-site.xml

It gives me error message: Error: Missing Dependency: /usr/lib/python2.5/config/Makefile is needed by package cloudera-desktop-0.2.0-1.x86_64 (cloudera-testing)
However I have python25 installed and /usr/lib/python2.5/config/Makefile is there
