According to the FAQ page to which you linked, setting the replies setting to "Always: all @ replies" will cause me to "receive all @replies from people I follow...". In this case, I receive an @reply from someone that I follow and who follows me, but I only noticed it because I went onto the actual twitter home page. It actually looks like Twitter is having technical difficulties right now, as half the time I visit the site I get "page cannot be displayed" messages, and I see other support issues from people reporting things like Messages to 40404 aren't reaching Twitter as of last night.

Can't I rely on twitter to notify me, since my setting for @Replies is set to "Show me all @ replies"? It's still not working though!!!
